What is your Cancellation policy?

– All cancellations due to extenuating circumstances will be reviewed by a support crew member and will need approval by management, at management’s discretion. Cancellations are not refunded.

– Safety-related cancellations stemming from the event of lightning, thunderstorms & heavy rain, during the time of the scheduled rental will be rescheduled to an available alternative date.

-All cancellations will be reviewed case by case when the Change Request Form is submitted through our website under the section labeled “More.”

What is your Insurance coverage?

Golden Boat Rentals has liability protection for Golden Boat if an accident involving the boat’s operation causes injury to someone or damage to another boat or another pier, for example, that Golden Boat is held responsible for if a boat is operated within the terms and conditions of the insurance policy.

A club member / renter may be held responsible themselves for a negligent act, if, for example, someone is hurt because a driver was intoxicated or in some way negligent in their operation of the boat causing injuries. Their own personal liability policy on their homeowner’s insurance may protect them for operation of a non-owned watercraft. They should check with their own agent to see how they are protected to operate a non-owned watercraft.
